English Golf Unions, SKCIN and UVISTAT combine to great effect
The English Golf Union, the sun cream manufacturer Uvistat and Skcin have combined to launch a unique skin cancer awareness campaign aimed at 750,000 golf club members in over 2000 golf clubs throughout England. Posters for display on notice boards and in locker rooms featuring England’s top amateur golfer and Skcin’s latest sporting Patron, Gary Wolstenholme, will be distributed in Spring next year warning club members about the dangers of over exposure to the sun. The EGU magazine will also support the campaign as will the English Women’s Golf Union for whom alternative posters have been produced and sent out this year displaying England Girls international Hannah Barwood, winner of the 2008 English Women’s Championship.
