The display shown on the photo supplied was created by our student council for the early years and KS1 building. Year 6 were given specific tasks to complete like designing a sun cream bottle, writing instructions for use and also designing shaded areas for places where they thought it was needed. Years 1-5 completed various sheets as provided by yourselves. Bel Royal Primary School is now an Official Sun Safe School!

Congratulations to Bel Royal Primary School for obtaining their Sun Safe School Status & Award

“The Sun Safe process was easy and supported what we would be doing as a school in getting the message across regarding being aware of the dangers and taking action like Suncreams hats and shade. We normally didn't consider sunglasses so have looked into the viability of this in terms of Sunglasses that protect you from the sun and 'toy' sunglasses as we are a primary school. The Sunsafe resources were an excellent additional resource to help get the message across in a way that the children remember. Thank You”
