GBNFC At The Chinnbrook Centre Completes Step 1 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Sun Hats, Sunscreen & Role Models
Congratulations to GBNFC At The Chinnbrook Centre for issuing Sun Safety Fact Sheets to all their pupils. GBNFC At The Chinnbrook Centre has also pledged to keep sun hats and sunscreen available for all their children and to act as role models with regard to sun safety:
“All staff will ensure that children bring into the setting appropriate sun hats and sun screen to ensure every child is kept safe from the sun.”

Staff will read and sing the slip slap song as thrynsupport children in using sunscreen for safety and protection as well as helping children understand the importance of this to stay safe from the effects of the sun on their skin.”

“All copies of the parent pledge will be kept in each child's file. Also the forms have now been put as part of the new starter packs for the children.”

“We provide sun cream for children which is signed for by parents, we also allow children to bring in their own suncream if they have allergies ect. All staf have been asked to bring in sun hats or to cover up when needed.”

The Nest Copper Beech Completes Step 3 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Teaching Resources & Activities
Congratulations to The Nest Copper Beech for reading George the Sun Safe Superstar to all their children and introducing everyone to the ‘Slip, Slap, Slop song’.The Nest Copper Beech have also pledged to continue to regularly use the resources provided to reinforce the sun safe message to their children.
