Chetwynd Primary Academy Completes Step 4 towards becoming a Sun Safe School - Lesson Plan

Roosters Kids Club Completes Step 3 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Teaching Resources & Activities

Congratulations to Roosters Kids Club for reading George the Sun Safe Superstar to all their children and introducing everyone to the ‘Slip, Slap, Slop song’.Roosters Kids Club have also pledged to continue to regularly use the resources provided to reinforce the sun safe message to their children.

Skcin attend 2nd International Conference on UV & Skin

From 10-13th September, Skcin were kindly sponsored by Schuco International to attend the 2nd International Conference on UV & Skcin in the German capital of Berlin.

The aim of the conference was to learn and share knowledge on what can be done to prevent skin cancer. Leading figures in the world of UV and skin cancer prevention came to Berlin to speak to public health professionals, communication professionals, researchers, decision makers and other professionals working with UV and skin cancer prevention.

The conference also provided short lectures in addition to selected abstracts, workshops and guided poster walks.  The event was a real opportunity to discuss and to network with other professionals and followed on from the 1st International Conference on UV and Skin Cancer Prevention that Skcin attended back in September 2011.
