Congratulations to Stretton Handley Church Of England (VC) Primary School for issuing letters and Sun Safety leaflets to the parents / guardians of all of their children. Stretton Handley Church Of England (VC) Primary School have also pledged to make sure that all children have access to Sun Hats & Sunscreen and that all teachers at the school will be good role models with regard to sun safety.
“We had a very positive response to the letter and received replies from all the families in school. Over 25 sun hats were sold and other parents pledged to provide sun hats. Spare sun hats were also purchased for school and are available to anyone who forgets to bring their own hat into school. Allparents agreed to provide sunscreen for school and have done so.”
“All members of staff have been issued with a booklet and have been made aware of the need to act as role models at all times with regard to sun safety. All staff have agreed to this.”
