Congratulations to St Mary's Catholic Primary School And Nursery for issuing letters and Sun Safety leaflets to the parents / guardians of all of their children. St Mary's Catholic Primary School And Nursery have also pledged to make sure that all children have access to Sun Hats & Sunscreen and that all teachers at the school will be good role models with regard to sun safety.
“School has ordered legionaries sun hats to be sold at a reduced price. School has sourced sun cream refills and has ordered 4 boxes of 6. We have Sunsafe monitors that update classes throughout the day on the UV levels and protection needed. There is also a provision of some spare hats.”
“The Sunsafe policy has been shared with all staff in school and they are encouraged to act responsible in the sun and promote sun safety among their pupils.”
