Skcin are pleased to announce that Oakfield High School and College, in Lancs have completed Step 4 towards renewing their Sun Safe Accreditation by reading the book 'George the sun safe superstar' to each class and completing the linked lesson plan and work / activity sheets provided.
“Hi, for the last 2 weeks our school has promoted through lessons and activities how to stay safe in the sun. We have had a competition in our form time every morning which was to design and create matching hats and sunglasses. We have purchased a sun safe trophy and individual badges that will be presented in our assembly after half term. This is when all our photographic evidence and resources will be collated and displayed on our anal sun safe board.
